Reasonable Adjustments to our recruitment process.

If you would like to discuss any reasonable adjustments we can make to our candidate application process please do get in touch with one of our Recruitment Team. Adjustments could include, but are not limited to, availability of job descriptions and application forms in different formats such as large print or braille; correspondence or anything you may need when visiting us for an interview, adjustments could include, but are not limited to, additional time for those with Dyslexia, a job coach to attend and support you and the provision of assistive technology. 

If I am shortlisted for interview, do I have to disclose my disability?

You are under no legal obligation to disclose that you have a disability (unless there are very specific health and safety risks) however, you may wish to inform a Recruitment Coordinator of your disability so that we can support you and ensure any reasonable adjustments are put in place.

If I am appointed, how will the University of Bath support me?

We are positive about employing disabled people and are committed to building disability confidence and supporting disabled staff. If you are appointed, we will work with you to make any necessary reasonable adjustments to how and where you work.

Our campus and city buildings are disability friendly with lifts and ramps for ease of access to wheelchair users. We have multiple disabled parking bays available to staff who require these across all our car parks.
