What will you achieve?

You will work with our new Director to lead the establishment of a new Strategic Projects Office (SPO) and build portfolio, programme, project and change management capability within the SPO. 

These roles underpin the delivering our Strategy and will work closely with senior leadership teams, academics, professional services, students and the wider community to create a shared approach to delivering the transformation. Each of the roles will lead teams that have critical contributions to make to the design, creation, development and success of our SPO. 

Deputy Director – Portfolio Management - Ref   

Lead the establishment and ongoing operation of the Strategic Projects Office and develop an integrated approach to portfolio management that aligns our strategy, delivery and performance, optimising our resources to deliver strategic impact.  

Deputy Director – Strategic Change - Ref CC8391R  

Lead our approach to strategic change, developing our capability and supporting methodologies alongside driving organisational wide engagement. You will provide leadership, guidance, and expert advice on all areas of the identification, resourcing and delivery of strategic change required to realise our University Strategy.  

Senior Programme Manager - Ref  

Deliver complex change programmes critical to the delivery of our University Strategy. You take ownership of the setting up of a new team through to delivery of new capabilities and the establishment of governance and realisation of benefits. Advising senior leadership teams on setting up programmes for success you will provide mentoring to staff from across the University in project management roles.
